Submitted on Review title of NikUseful and simple, and powerful if you want. This is the best way to use Linux on Windows, that I've ever tried. WSL is amazing. As for these available distros, I tried a few, Debian for example was nice but lacked a lot of ease-of-use stuff. This Ubuntu WSL works exactly the way you expect, and has all the things you need to get started. You can even, with a little work/configuration and a virtual x server thing, get a virtual Linux desktop running, to impress your friends.;) Tho there's not a ton of functional use for it. Also, I'm REALLY glad they keep this updated, so far!
